About the Maine Tourism Marketing Partnership Program (MTMPP) The Maine Tourism Marketing
Partnership Program (MTMPP) is a grant initiative administered by the Maine Office of Tourism. It was established to help tourism-related organizations promote Maine as a travel destination through innovative marketing projects and collaborative campaigns.
MTMPP grants are designed to support projects that align with statewide tourism priorities, encourage regional partnerships, and enhance Maine’s brand identity. These funds help extend the reach of local marketing efforts, drive sustainable visitation, and strengthen the tourism economy across all of Maine’s diverse regions.
Helping Maine Communities Thrive
Tourism in Maine isn’t just about numbers—it’s about nurturing the unique places and people that make our state special. Through our marketing grants, the Maine Office of Tourism supports local efforts that celebrate Maine’s authentic character, spark curiosity in visitors, and contribute to long-term community vitality.
We believe thriving communities are built on a healthy balance of economy, environment, and culture. These grants are designed to help you tell your story in a way that reflects your values, highlights local identity, and invites visitors to connect responsibly with the places we call home.
By supporting thoughtful, community-rooted marketing efforts, we aim to:
Attract values-aligned visitors who respect Maine’s landscapes and way of life.
Encourage collaboration between local partners to amplify impact.
Strengthen cultural and natural stewardship through meaningful storytelling.
Boost economic vitality while protecting what makes Maine unique.
Let’s work together to ensure that tourism enhances quality of life—for both residents and visitors—for generations to come.
